Breast Friends Update
Our third breast cancer fundraiser is currently being planned for the Spring of 2010. We will let you know about the new date as soon as possible.
If you have attended this in the past you know how we love to hold this special event to benefit breast cancer programs and research. There will be special canvases, an auction, lucky draw and more. This year we will be directing our efforts with the Odette Centre toward the PYNK program at Sunnybrooke Hospital. They serve women under the age of 40 living with cancer. We will be updating you on our progress on the site and in the store.

February 4th is our 6th Birthday at our current location. In celebration and thanks to our friends and customers we would like to help you celebrate your birthday with special offers. Please email us at info@cindysneedleart.com with your birthday month and day (of course we know you are all 29!). You may also call the store at 905-709-7759 to sign up. We will be sending out warm wishes and gift certificates good for the month that you celebrate and one more for good luck.
Check out About Us for a new feature-"About the Artist". We will begin this new addition with an interview with Randi Gelman of "Sew Much Fun!" our in-house artist. Randi's latest creations include new mini 3-D baby animals, 3 powder rooms, a new evening bag, and magnificent sunflowers and tulips and roses coming soon. Come in and see our adorable Santa and Snowman. We have wonderful new Christmas tags and ornaments.
Canvas updates have now begun. Many more will be following soon with links to sizes and prices. Thank you all for your patience while this gets underway. In the meantime, please feel free to call or email to ask any questions about the new canvases.
If you have a favorite artist who you would like featured please call or email us and we will do our best. As always, we can special order canvases for you or have a canvas custom designed.
Evening Hours
Evening hours will be available on the first Wednesday of each month by by appointment only. Please call to let us know if you would like an evening appointment at 905-709-7759.
Drop in Classes
These classes are great for beginners or those who want to improve their technique. They have been tons of fun so bring a friend and join the group. All are welcomed to sit and stitch. Make 2010 the year to finish a project or learn new stitches. Call or email to sign up.
Please join us for a 2 hour class each Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Bring your own needlepoint and you will learn new stitches and techniques. Each 2 hour class is $15.00.
If another time is more convenient for you please email us and if we will form a new class if we have four members signed up.
